Appointed in October 2020, Exeggutor is now the Support Pokémon of Miyazaki Prefecture. Also called the “Sunny Spot of Japan”, Miyazaki Prefecture is known for its yearly warm climate, and the official prefectural tree happens to be the “Phoenix” palm tree. It is for this reason that Exeggutor - which resembles a palm tree and is also known as “The Walking Jungle” - is the perfect match for the role of Support Pokémon. Miyazaki Prefecture takes advantage of its warm climate to grow Mangos, hyuganatsu, kumquats, cucumbers, green peppers, pumpkins and other agricultural produce - and going forward Exeggutor will optimize its synergy with Miyazaki Prefecture to make appearances and really get things rolling.
An Exeggutor which has adapted to the unique natural habitat of the Alola region. The strong sunlight has awakened the power hidden within Exeggcute. It swings its long neck like a whip and smacks its opponents. This makes Exeggutor dizzy, too. Its image is carved into historcal buildings and murals in the Alola region.
Exeggutor originally came from the tropics, and is also called “The Walking Jungle”. Each of its three heads think independently. However, they are friendly and never appear to squabble. Exeggutor evolves from Exeggcute.
Miyazaki Prefecture, is a tropical resort located In the South-East of the Kyūshū region facing the Pacific Ocean - with blue sky, sea, shimmering sun, and composed of green mountains. With power spots of mythical origins, plenty of breathtaking natural scenery, top-quality Miyazaki beef, and blessed with delicious food, the prefecture is truly a wonder to behold. Additionally, due to the warm climate there are plenty of athletic facilities, meaning that many sports teams - such as Pro Baseball and J-League Soccer - conduct camping and lodging. We look forward to seeing you in Miyazaki - the “Sunny Spot of Japan”!
